Lana Chahine, MD

Dr. Lana Chahine graduated from medical school at the American University of Beirut in 2005 and completed Neurology residency at Cleveland Clinic, where she was Neurology co-chief resident. She received sub-specialty training during a two-year movement disorders fellowship at the Parkinson's and Movement Disorders center of the University of Pennsylvania as well as training in Sleep Medicine. In 2014, she completed a Masters of Science in Clinical Epidemiology. She was appointed Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of Pennsylvania in 2015.

Dr. Chahine's research interests include (i) epidemiology and clinical/biomarker characterization of prodromal Parkinson's disease (PD) (ii) sleep abnormalities in PD and their impact on cognition and other PD manifestations (iii) design and implementation of clinical trials for individuals with PD and related disorders.
