Andrew Siderowf, MD, MSCE

Andrew Siderowf, MD, MS, received his MD from Duke University and a master?s degree in clinical epidemiology from the University of Pennsylvania.  Following a residency in neurology at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Siderowf completed an NIH-funded fellowship at the University of Rochester in movement disorders and experimental therapeutics. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine. He is also the Director of the Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to his current position, he was the Senior Medical Director at Avid Radiopharmaceuticals.

Dr. Siderowf has received research funding from the NINDS, The Michael J. Fox Foundation and the National Parkinson Foundation.  His research interests include clinical evaluation of biomarkers and assessment of patient-oriented outcome measures for clinical trials in Parkinson?s disease and Alzheimer?s disease.
