On June 6th, 2013, PPMI was featured on The Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research Foxfeed Blog. MJFF Contributing Editor Dave Iverson interviewed the Foundation's Vice President of Research Programs Mark Frasier, PhD in a podcast with the goal of informing patients about some of the preliminary findings of PPMI.

Dr. Kenneth Marek to Present on PPMI at the Alzheimer?s Association International Conference

The 25th Alzheimer?s Association International Conference (AAIC) will be held in Boston, MA from July 13 to 18. Dr. Marek, PPMI Principal Investigator will present on the Parkinson?s Progression Markers Initiative as part of the AAIC Alzheimer?s Imaging Consortium (AIC). Dr. Marek will discuss PPMI and similarities in biomarker research across AD and PD given his involvement in both the ADNI and PPMI efforts.
