University of California, San Diego joins PPMI as a clinical site

GE announces FDA approval of DaTscan

The FDA has approved DaTscan, an imaging technique that detects dopamine transporters in the brain, which can help to detect and diagnose disorders like PD. DaTscan is currently in use at all 21 PPMI clinical sites in the US and Europe.
